ABOUT YOUR THERAPIST

Cori McWilliams has been a practicing, licensed massage therapist since 2016.  With experience working in several chiropractic and multidisciplinary clinics, Cori has years of hands-on expertise with injury and rehabilitation, chronic-pain management, Motor vehicle accidents, as well as with broader stress-relief techniques and holistic care.

Before becoming a massage therapist, Cori attended Eastern Washington University where she studied painting and sculpture and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2009.  She has worked as an artist, in the local food-service industry, and as a caregiver; first to her great grandparents, and  her grandmother.

These varied life experiences have given Cori an affinity for massage therapy. Studying and practicing art helped to hone her creativity, intuition, and tactile sensibilities.  Care-giving provided her insight into what a profound difference something as simple as a foot massage or a thoughtfully placed hand can have on the spirit, mood and quality of care. These initial experiences sparked her fascination with the mechanisms and science of the human mind and body, and she is dedicated to continuing her knowledge as a life-long learner. Cori is enthusiastic about massage and believes in the therapeutic benefits of human touch.

Outside of massage, Cori has many hobbies which include spending time with her rescue pups Gilly and Izzy, growing and digging in her garden, cooking, swimming, camping, yoga and travel.
